Cep d’Or, Vevey Basement Session
The very next day, we found ourselves in Vevey, invited by our friend Vadim Mayer to set the tone at the cozy basement of La Cave du Cep d’Or.
Imagine a space grounded in texture and intimacy: classic studio carpets, a small drum corner, minimalist furniture, and dim, low-hanging lights. A room that invites closeness, between sound, people, and moment.
The crowd was as eclectic as it gets: high schoolers and university students, lovers, elderly guests, hippies, and even a few seniors. A true cross-section of generations, all sharing the same floor, the same rhythm. That mix made the night feel especially alive.
Musically, the journey unfolded naturally. Niceyboy opened with deep, soulful selections, laying a warm foundation. Merz followed, nudging the groove forward with subtle confidence. Chun Hao then took a bold turn , diving headfirst into jacking house, before easing back into playful, sing-song house rhythms. To close, Vadim Mayer himself lifted the room into another sphere, guiding the crowd with precision and emotion.
As the night drew to an end, all four of us came together for a spontaneous back-to-back, blurring boundaries and closing the circle.
