Who is Amuse Bouche

Amuse Bouche is a Lausanne-based music project that blends house, disco, afro and deep house into a sensory, immersive experience. Founded with a DIY spirit and a passion for creative hospitality, the collective handles every aspect of its shows – from music production to visual identity. The trio of Merz, Chun Hao and Niceyboy combines influences from classical music, haute cuisine and visual arts to create performances that engage both emotion and body.

What does the name Amuse Bouche mean

Amuse Bouche literally means “mouth amuser” – a small, sensual appetizer meant to awaken all the senses. For us, it symbolizes our approach: music that feels like a refined, multisensory experience – detailed, emotional and human. Each performance is a moment of sharing, discovery and enjoyment – an Amuse Bouche for the ears, body and soul.

Where can we experience you live

You can experience Amuse Bouche live at some of Switzerland’s most exciting clubs and festivals, including Greengo, Maison Bern, Glulgu Bern, Sihl Records, Blabla Vevey and the Caprices Festival. What kind of music do you play

Our sound merges the warmth of house, the depth of afro and deep house, and the organic groove of electronic music. Through subtle textures, pulsing rhythms and emotional arcs, we create soundscapes that move both body and mind. Each set is like a carefully composed menu – balanced, detailed and full of small surprises.

Can we book you for events or private parties

Do you produce your own tracks

Yes, we produce our own music – from individual edits to full original tracks. You can currently find our releases on SoundCloud or purchase selected pieces directly through our website. Larger projects and releases on major streaming platforms are planned for the near future.

Which artists do you collaborate with

We collaborate with artists who share our passion for sound, aesthetics and atmosphere, including Cinnay, Fabian Luginbühl, Sophie Grand and Adi Flück (Central Dubs). Each collaboration is curated, personal and born from a shared understanding of music as a collective, sensory experience.
