Halloween at MAD Club Lausanne
Last week we played at MAD Club in Lausanne for Halloween. It’s not always easy to play in a club where the main stage upstairs is fully commercial, while we’re in the basement trying to build a different kind of atmosphere. It took a moment for people to come down and tune into a more refined house set, something deeper, but still with a few familiar tracks to keep the flow.
The crowd was very young, mostly around eighteen, and it’s fair to say that not everyone could really connect with house music in the way we hoped. Still, towards the end, some older students joined us, and the energy started to move. Those moments of real motion, when people begin to feel the music, made it worth it.
We hope next time we’ll get to play for a crowd that truly understands and appreciates this kind of sound. Until then, we keep playing, learning, and enjoying every small connection along the way.
