Six Hours of Wax: Chunhao at Sihl Records, Zurich
Last Wednesday, one week ago, our DJ and producer CHUN HAO took on a marathon of a set at Sihl Records in Zurich. A full six hours behind the decks, armed with nothing but crates of vinyl and pure determination.
Playing vinyl is already a craft. It’s heavy, analog, unforgiving, but carrying several kilos of wax across borders and cities? That’s dedication. And CHU HAO didn’t just show up, he delivered. Seamlessly blending grooves for hours, he took the room on a journey that spanned genres and continents, all while keeping the energy alive from start to finish.
The atmosphere? Electric. The crowd? Packed. You could hear German, Italian, Spanish, and English , a true reflection of Zurich’s cultural melting pot. But music, of course, was the common language. And CHUN HAO spoke it fluently.
One record sparked our uniquely, namely Niceyboy’s track “Land of Kings”, the first amuse bouche song pressed on vinyl.
Massive thank you to the crew at Sihl Records for providing the platform and the vibe. It's spaces like these that make moments like this possible.
Until next time, and next city.
