Last day of school

On the last day of school in June, we teamed up once again with our friends from the Pavot Collective for an open-air event at the public pool in Prilly, Lausanne. The location had all the ingredients for a memorable gathering, but when we arrived, we were met with a rather challenging setup. The venue had clearly been neglected and required a fair amount of care before it was ready to welcome guests.

Instead of letting that discourage us, we rolled up our sleeves. We rearranged the space, cleaned up as much as we could, and gradually transformed it into a place that felt a bit more inviting. With the support of Don Julio, who joined the event as a partner, everything slowly came together.

The weather certainly played its part. It was one of the hottest days of the summer, so people arrived later than expected and the energy took a little longer to build. However, there were around 300 people. Even on the dance floor, the heat made it more challenging to get people moving. But as the evening progressed and the temperature eased, the atmosphere found its rhythm. Looking back, it was once again one of those events that reminded us that great nights are not always the easiest ones, they're often the result of adaptability, teamwork, and making the very best of what you're given.
